This is based on the old Formatt Presson Type font, Stonehenge. But since there is already a good font called Stonehenge, I am calling it Moria. This has long been one of my favorite fonts, and I hope you like it.This font is completely unofficial and in no way endorsed by Games WorkshopLimited. Apr 16, 2019 - In Steam games library, right-click “Total War: WARHAMMER II” and select. The strategic location icon now matches the style of the landmark building. Fixed some issues with numbers appearing in a small font in 4k. I.really. like the UI/fonts as they are now, but am also aware that others don't like them that small. I'm a minimal interface kind of a guy, so the smaller and neater the UI the better for me - I really like it as is now and would personally be disappointed if the fonts and general UI was enlarged.
I found an ore field. It shows the requisition bonus as a 2 in pink font.
What does the pink font represent? Also - the requisition bonus% is in yellow font. What does the yellow font represent? Also also - why doesn't the information in the hover text show what bonus resources are given when you hover over feature and special resource tiles. The hover information also fails to show you what resources you get from the Savannah, in my screenshot as an example. In this screenshot example below, the ore field does not show the ore bonus that the ore field gives when I hover over the tile. I have to then go into the compendium to find out what resources and bonuses it gives. This is a big hassle, and this information should be shown on the game map when you hover over resources and features. Thank you, Iain. I understand that. However, I guess I wasn't clear, but my questions were about the colors.
What does the pink font and yellow font represent? Why are some numbers in pink and yellow. What is the distinction between a number in pink font or yellow font, as opposed to regular white font? Also - what about my other questions about not showing the resource info in the hover text for feature and special resource tiles? Can this be added, please, or is it available to see somewhere else other than having to open up the compendium every time I find a special feature or resource tile to see what the bonuses are? Finally - the occupy vs.

Acquire distinction between the two bonuses really needs to be explained somewhere in the game. As far as I can tell, it does not explain this anywhere. The hover text - when you hover over a tile with a special feature or special resource, the tooltip hover text does not show the resource bonuses that the feature or special resource give you.For example, in my screenshot above, the tooltip when hovering over the ore field does not show the ore bonus that the ore field provides. I have to then go into the compendium to find out what resources and bonuses it gives.

Perhaps you need to hover on a certain area of the hex? Licker34 - my screenshot is fine.
You are not reading what I am explaining. The screenshot shows the requisition icon for the ore field. The ore field in the compendium shows an ore icon. That is what I am confused about.Iain and GGLoner - so when I look at the ore field in the compendium, it shows an ore icon and the bonus ore you get. So, you're saying this is meaningless for Space Marines? If I was playing a different faction (I haven't done that yet) that used ore as a resource, then the ore field hover tooltip would show the ore icon and the bonus ore you get for taking that ore field?Am I understanding that correctly?
Most factions get ore, but Space Marines dont. They get requisition points instead. Things that generate ore, generally generate requisition for SM. SM also don't get food. The compendium needs to be updated to say that each faction collects different resources from the bonus tiles.
Necrons don't get food either but bonuses give some influence instead. Originally we had it that things like Grox pastures were useless to Necrons but it made the fight for resources less interesting. The conpendium hasn't kept up with the gameplay changes. Its a constant struggle.
I think the Marines and Necrons are probably not the best factions to play your first game with, since their resources are a bit different. The Guard and Orks use the normal resources I think. Your screenshot correctly shows what the Marines get from that tile, i.e. Requisitions. The bonuses are a bit confusing and there are other threads discussing this issue. What I've learned is this.1, Percentage bonuses on normal tiles only apply to buildings constructed on those tiles (not to the whole city).
So it's a good idea to build the appropriate buildings on those tiles. For example, if you have a tile with +30% research, fill it with research buildings! That's the best way to specialise your cities.2. Outpost tiles (like resource tiles in Civ) each give +2 of the resource and a +20% bonus.2a.
If you occupy an outpost on the map, you gain control of it. This give you the +2 resource, but not the +20% bonus. To get the bonus as well, you either need to acquire the tile (i.e. Add it to your city), or build a fortress of redemption next to it (in the case of the Marines).
Other factions can't get the +20% bonus unless they add it to a city.2b. When a city acquires an outpost tile, it gets the +2 resource, and the +20% bonus is applied to ALL buildings of that type within the city. So if you acquire an ore field, all ore producing buildings in the city will also get that 20% bonus, while the normal tile bonuses only apply to a building constructed on that specific tile.Strategy tip: Outposts usually occur in areas that provide bonuses for the same resource. So an ore outpost will usually be surrounded by lots of tiles that have ore bonuses. Therefore build a city nearby, build ore producing buildings on the tiles that give the biggest bonuses, then acquire the outpost tile to get the +20% bonus applied to all your ore buildings within that city for a super high production ore city.Another tip for seeing what tile bonuses are available:When you select a city, clicking on the acquire tile icon will show the bonuses of all the tiles surrounding your city. Alternatively, clicking on any construct building icon will show you all the bonuses on the available tiles within your city.In the manual there's a keyboard shortcut to show all the tile yields (Ctrl+Y) but it doesn't currently work. Would be very helpful if they fix this.
